The Journey Begins Ch. 03

Flora and Liese continued their southward journey through the great boreal forest. Each night, using their power to tap the Earth Mother’s love for her creation and bring the joy of her song to the life she brought.

After a journey of many weeks, there was obviously less shadows and a brighter light began to penetrate the forest. Flora sensing Liese’s question said, “We are beginning to reach human settlements. You left these settlements at a young age when your awakening power reached our attention and we have kept you on the fringe’s of the strongest of power in order to fully awaken your potential once you became an appreciation.”

Eventually, they stepped out of the forest and Liese saw a ribbon of dirt stretching to the east and west. “This is the northern boundary road,” said Flora. “Humans are allowed no activity past this boundary and even to the south of it they are very limited in their use of Mother’s creation,” continued Flora.

Flora continued to explain that the Earth Mother cared for all her creations but she could not allow a deterioration of power ever again that necessary the cataclysmic cleaning of her creation.

“Our primary purpose is to ensure that Mother’s forest stays pure and strong and that human activity is kept to the regions where it is allowed,” said Flora. “Mother does not hate the male species and she knows it was her own predicted absence that brought forth the damaging male powers,” explained Flora. “But,” she continued, “the males are carefully supervised and swiftly determined as necessary.”

They journeyed west for a distance, crossing paths with none until they came upon a crossroads with a track heading south. After a comfortable night in the embrace of a great oak they headed south. As they journeyed, signs of activity slowly grew. Passing farmers and other activities of human life.

Liese was awed as she was seeing more people in days then she had seen in her remembered lifetime. Since her elevation to Flora’s apprentice there had only been the occasional meeting with Ruby sisters or Green sisters and their apprentices during chance meetings at territory boundaries.

Liese’s memory of her time before becoming Flora’s apprentice was limited. She remembered a period of six or seven years where she was well cared for by kind and gentle people and a learning process. On her 18th birthday, she remembered being brought to the communities edge and with a loving embrace told to venture into the forest.

She remembered being appreciated but trust of a loving bond saw her doing as directed. She remembered travelling for many days and using her skills to live off what the forest provided until suddenly one evening sensing a presence. She followed that presence until she came across a bright clearing near some towering pines.

Sitting quietly, clearly in deep meditation was a woman in a leather sleepless dress with a ruby lined cowl pulled over her head. A light seemed to shine forth from the cowl and when it turned to Liese, she felt an instant bond of certainty.

They had travelled together for a number of days, Liese feeling completely safe and loved until they came across another clearing ringed by some of the largest trees Liese had ever seen. As they entered the clearing, appearing to step from a tree was a woman in the same dress that Flora wore but with a blue lined cowl.

Liese watched Flora approach her and clearly felt a connection as they embedded. After a short period the new woman said, “The bond is made and it is clear. Acceptance by both is also clear.” With that statement she turned from Flora and Liese gasped as she appeared to walk back into the tree.

Flora turned back to Liese and approached. Liese was amazed to see a bed of moss growth around her feet and watched as Flora placed a package next to it. Flora drew back her cowl and Liese saw that the lining was now green instead of ruby coloured.

Flora stepped close and placed her hands on Liese’s wait and brought their lips together. From the first touch a melodic song of kindness and love flowed through Liese’s being. Flora removed Liese’s simple dress but Liese felt no shame in her nakedness in Flora’s presence.

Liese ached to feel Flora’s embrace again and watched longingly and with near awe as her dress was folded, placed on the moss and absorbed into it. Flora then removed her own dress and Liese had never seen such beauty before. Skin that radiated love and joy and a lean body with clearly defined strength.

Flora brought their bodies together, and this time Liese felt a song of strength and protection that seemed to create one soul. Flora moved their bodies to the moss and Liese was overjoyed when their lips touched again and near orgasmic with the touch of their tongues.

Flora’s touch ran across her body and its touch to her breasts hardened Liese’s nipples and shortened her breathing. Flora’s tongue running up her armpit caused Liese to gasp in near ecstasy and excitement especially as Flora’s hand found her vagina and began to touch the most intimate of areas that had never felt another’s touch before.

Flora’s fingers toying with her navel and rustling through her pubic hair as Liese felt a heat and sensing deep into her womb. Soon, the fingers finding a wetness between her labia that had needed no coating and a deep gasp as fingers pushed past resistance. As fingers worked inside her and a palm rubbed her cliporis Liese’s abdomen tightened and soon her hands pushed upon Flora’s hand until her hips thrust upwards with the arching of her back a song of deep pleasure burst forth.

Flora’s gentle laugh was filled with love and kindness as she brought Liese close to her. Liese was as content as she had ever been and knew that Flora would protect and care for her without question or condition.

The forest fauna around them had clearly bloomed and the bed of moss had grown deeper andMore radiant. Flora opened the bundle and helped Liese dress in green tights and sleepless shirt. She then placed a hybrid cowl and harness over Liese’s head.

Liese could see the solid leather of the cowl running over the top of the fullness of her small breasts and could feel a similar amount of solid leather over her shoulder blades. Flora attached the harness’ buckles beneath Liese’s arms and Liese felt a small tingle of energy as Flora touched each buckle in turn.

“As my appreciation,” said Flora, “Only I or a sister of equal status to myself may remove this cowl to bear your head.”

Liese was roused from her memories by a small jolt signaling a new sister’s presence. Flora noticed and said, “I was wondering when you would notice.” As they continued walking and the outlines of a small village became clear Flora said, “We will meet someone new when we enter the village.”

As they entered the hamlet of about 20 stone and wood buildings Liese saw a stage sitting about ten feet above the ground. Bound to a cross piece supported at both ends was a naked man with a sister standing near and addressing the assembled crowd.

Flora and Liese felt the sister acknowledge their presence and Liese could see that the green of this sister’s cowling was darker than Flora’s. She could see that the sister held a whip that was far more gruesome than the one she had experienced at Flora’s hand.

“Yes,” said Flora, “Not all the sisters have forgiven man’s translation upon the forests.” As Liese and Flora joined the edge of the crowd Liese saw that the sister’s left arm was covered in a beautiful tattoo from should to wrist.

“While ones such as us tend the forest and keep the bonds of power strong,” explained Flora as she continued, “Those such as Aurora who feel Mother’s pain much More deeply have a role to play to keep man’s powers in check.”
